ROB AND SKATZ / STUART BLACK / SHAZIA MIRZA / JAMIE SUTHERLAND

Rising from open-spots to headliners in just a year, renowned award-winning performer Rob Gee and highly respected musician Skatz have pooled their collective writing and musical talents with a killer set of songs on the seedy side of life.

"had the audience in stitches … a big thumbs-up … definitely an act to look out for" BBCi

Stuart Black's social comentary is truthfull and acerbic, delivered in a relaxed and conversational style. His stories start with observations and build into bizarre flights of fancy.

"...skilful delivery, matched with a care in choosing his language and imagery." Chortle.

Shazia Mirza’s distinctive act combines a deadpan delivery with observation on her world. Shazia is in certain respects a revolutionary figure being the UK’s only female Muslim stand up, a job which many in her culture would frown upon. This enables her to have a unique perspective as a British Muslim with her material crossing both cultures. Supported by many in her culture Shazia has recently won the award of Young Achiever Of The Year at the Government’s initiative for the Asian community, The Leadership & Diversity Awards.

“My name is Shazia Mirza....’ she says. ‘At least that’s what it says on my pilot’s licence’. No one can resist - the room erupts” ELLE MAGAZINE Natalie Meddings

Jamie SutherlandThis Wigan based scouser will keep you amused with tales, stories, and all his own teeth. Since launching himself into the comedy world two years ago, Jamie has established himself on the comedy circuit, and is now resident compere at two clubs, Global Comedy and The Brinsop Comedy Club

"A goofy lad with a tidy kind of humour. Very funny night out." - Chortle Comment
